Created by >X-Tomi Design, it could be marketed as an alternative to the Bentayga SUV and aimed at those customers who prefer the shape of an estate complete with a spacious trunk and enough room to seat four passengers in extreme comfort.
The new Bentley Flying Spur features a host of impressive technologies that set it apart from the outgoing model. For example, there are 48-volt active anti-roll bars, electronic all-wheel steering, active all-wheel drive and the Bentley Dynamic Ride system with air suspension and three-chamber air springs. According to the British brand, this suspension setup means the vehicle can be easily alter between offering a comfortable ride and one with sportier traits.
Powering the flagship saloon is a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 626 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. The 12-cylinder is paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, allowing the luxurious sedan to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
Imagine having that much performance in an ultra luxurious estate. That certainly sounds like the type of vehicle which Bentley could sell with ease – bad, sadly, it will never happen.
