Cardiff Coach John Mulvihill Slams 'nightmare' Shirt Clash After Glasgow Defeat

Cardiff Blues are ready to complain to the European Champions Cup organisers after a ludicrous shirt clash in their defeat by Glasgow Warriors.

The Scottish team ran out easy winners and although the Blues were keen to stress that the one-sided nature of the game had nothing to do with both of the teams being decked in blue, their anger was palpable.

“We complained before the game,” John Mulvihill, the Blues’ coach, said. “The jerseys were exactly the same colour, it was an absolute nightmare.

“Running into that sun the boys couldn’t differentiate who was their team-mate and who wasn’t. It was ridiculous, we asked if we could change jerseys at half-time, but it just didn’t happen.
