Manufacturing Industry In Central U.S. Faces Its Biggest Challenge From Abroad, Survey Finds

U.S. gross domestic product in 2017 is estimated to be about $19.4 trillion, compared with about $1.6 trillion for Canada and about $1.1 trillion for Mexico, according to the International Monetary Fund. Its respective trade deficits with those countries were $11 billion and $64 billion in 2016, according to the most recent data available from the U.S. International Trade Commission.
